Senior Engineer: HP Tandem NonStop / C / C++ Developer

HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Are you an experienced HP Tandem NonStop Engineer with current C / C++ programming skills who is ready for a new challenge? Are you looking for the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to bolster your retirement savings? Our client, a Fortune 100 industry leader, is in search of a Senior HP Tandem NonStop Engineer to deliver technical solutions in a high-profile enterprise setting.

Competitive compensation of $80 - $95 W2 per hour (+ benefits - see below). This is a long-term contract opportunity requiring 40 hrs/week.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must live in the continental U.S. and be available to work Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
• Open only to individuals who are U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• W-2 only (no C2C).
• A pre-employment background check and 5 panel drug screening are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upgrade existing code to ensure they are running smoothly and securely.
• Develop technical solutions that address complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Work independently and proactively identify and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• 5+ years of professional experience with HP Tandem NonStop.
• Expertise in TACL, Shell Scripting, and Eclipse.
• Experience with C / C++ (must be recent).
• Strong knowledge of SQL/MP, SQL/MX, Guardian/OSS, NonStop Web Services (SOAP), XML/JSON.
• Understanding of encryption and key management.
• Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure.
• Experience with Java is a plus.
