E-logic is excited to announce openings for support roles with the Idaho Department of Agriculture (Idaho DOA). We are looking for talented individuals to provide essential services that aid in the administration and operation of various agricultural programs throughout the state of Idaho. This is a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative environment dedicated to enhancing agricultural support systems and services.

Inspector 1
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Move and stage sample containers, unload trucks, and perform minor maintenance.
• Examine product quality, classify grades, and maintain accurate grading records.
• Collect, weigh, and document samples while following specific procedures.
• Verify and document seed potato grades and prepare shipments.
• Basic clerical work, data entry, and following established office protocols.

Field Inspector
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspect crop fields, document samples, and follow sanitation protocols.
• Use maps to locate fields and keep precise records of locations, samples, and mileage.
• Communicate inspection findings to farmers and field representatives.

PCN Soil Sampler
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collect soil samples using a soil sampling spade.
• Document and store samples accurately.
• Wear protective gear and follow safety and sanitation protocols.

Requirements

Inspector 1

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Capability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly; some tasks require lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Must pass a vision color test and may need forklift certification.

Field Inspector

Qualifications:

• Ability to read maps and walk long distances on rough terrain.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

PCN Soil Sampler

Qualifications:

• Ability to hike and work on rough terrain for extended periods.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
