Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in our manufacturing facility. You will play a vital role in the production process by ensuring that all components are machined accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Repair or replace worn or faulty machine parts as needed
• Monitor machine performance and identify any issues or malfunctions
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize machine settings and processes
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate a variety of machines and tools safely and effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Proficient in using measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers
• Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus
