Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in an accounting management role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
