Full Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently working with an established and prestigious family office CAS team to assist in the recruitment of an Accounting Manager. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and accounting functions of the family office. This includes managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and tax compliance. Additionally, you will work closely with other members of the family office to ensure efficient operations and provide financial insights and recommendations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a family office or similar setting. They should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for success in this role.
CAS Accounting Manager - HYBRID
Duties:
- Lead a team responsible for daily financial processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Record and reconcile investment activity to provide comprehensive insights into portfolio performance.
- Maintain unfunded commitment schedules to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Prepare month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both companies and individuals.
- Collaborate closely with our tax family office group to support the preparation of various tax returns, including forms 1065, 1040, 1041, 990/990PF, 1120, 709, and 1099s.
- Review responses to Federal and state notices to address any issues promptly and effectively.
- Experienced with Intacct software
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role with high net-worth individuals (8 Years Progressive Experience Preferred)
- Experience in running a team in a family office or similar setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and budgeting processes
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and other financial tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Daily acces to a vehicle

The annual salary target for this job in this market is negotiable. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
