Full Job Description
The Macon County Mental Health Board is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Director of CFC#19 (Child and Family Connections) an Early Intervention program. This leadership position oversees CFC#19 ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and fosters a collaborative environment for staff and families. The Director will work closely with community partners, manage budgets, and develop strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery to families and children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the CFC#19 program
- Oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal mandates
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners
- Supervise and mentor CFC staff, promoting professional development and teamwork
- Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements based on findings
- Participate in grant writing and funding initiatives
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in human services, behavioral science, social science or health-related field
- Previous experience in early childhood services, preferably in a leadership role
- Knowledge of Child and Family Connections (CFC) and Early Intervention (EI) policies and procedures
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in grant writing and program evaluation
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation
