About The Role
The PatientIQ Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) – Medical Device is responsible for building a pipeline of new business and selling our software solutions to prospective Medical Device accounts in a large multi-state territory across the USA. The EAE will prospect into new logo accounts, conduct qualifying phone calls with decision-makers, give presentations and software demonstrations, execute a sales strategy, and close deals. The EAE will be in regular communication with business leaders in the Medical Device sector and healthcare providers to understand their needs and position PatientIQ’s cloud-based software platform as a solution.
Prior software sales experience and a deep understanding of the medical device industry is a requirement for this role. The EAE will be tasked with driving revenue growth for PatientIQ’s ResearchPRO offering which incorporates Electronic Data Capture (EDC), electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePROs), eConsent, and Electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) to support Medical Device companies’ clinical research and real world data strategies to help them demonstrate the efficacy of their products, obtain regulatory approvals, and differentiate themselves from the competition.
The ideal EAE will have a strong track record of implementing and refining a sales strategy to Medical Device accounts that maximizes pipeline opportunities and exceeds sales targets. You will leverage prior experience and relationships, as well as a strong understanding of clinical data strategies in the Medical Device industry to source new business opportunities. You will work closely with the PatientIQ research team and leverage their subject matter expertise as needed during the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline of medical device and biologics/biomedical accounts
- Utilize advanced knowledge of service offerings and understanding of the client’s business to successfully demonstrate PatientIQ’s capabilities.
- Build and maintain an effective partnership with decision-makers and primary stakeholders in client organizations.
- Lead negotiations and navigate complex decision-making processes to close new business opportunities.
- Partner with the VP of Medical Device, Sales Leadership, PatientIQ Research team, Solutions Consultant, and Revenue Operations to continuously refine and improve sales strategy and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Health-tech SaaS sales experience
- 7+ years of sales experiencing including 3+ years of prior experience selling solutions to Medical Device customers
- Prior experience selling to the orthopedic market is preferred
- Knowledge of clinical research and study execution is preferred
- Experience selling to C-level stakeholders and has demonstrated the ability to successfully navigate complex sales cycles
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset to effectively work across internal teams across PatientIQ
- Ability to travel at least 25% annually
