Batch Freight is seeking a results-driven Freight Account Executive specializing in 3PL Sales to join our innovative sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and providing tailored logistics solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in third-party logistics, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to understand and meet the unique needs of clients.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with new clients in the 3PL sector
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
- Develop customized logistics solutions to meet client requirements
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to close sales
- Collaborate with operations and other teams to ensure smooth implementation
- Maintain relationships with existing accounts to foster long-term partnerships
- Track sales metrics and prepare reports for management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Freight Account Executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in 3PL
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify and understand client needs
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
