Looking to lifeguard at a private resort?
Urbana Country Club is seeking talented individuals for the opportunity to Lifeguard and Instruct in our luxurious aquatics facility. Availability
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays throughout the summer season and through September. Minimum of 15 hours a week required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Implementation of the 3 steps of service to our members and their guests--warm welcomes, magic moments and fond farewells
- Knowledge of the proper pool guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our members and their guests
- An enthusiastic person willing to adjust to situations in a timely and efficient manner where hospitality is paramount
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

- American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid
- Facility training pertaining to resort operations and hospitality
Compensation
- $16 / hour
- Paid biweekly
- Additional compensation for swim lessons
- Uniforms and supplies provided
- Opportunity for employment in other operations at end of season
