Braid Wood Fire Protection District is currently seeking a Livechat Representative to join our team. As a Livechat Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for individuals who reach out to us online for assistance. You will provide timely and accurate information about our services, answer inquiries, and resolve customer issues. If you are a patient and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Respond to livechat inquiries promptly and professionally
- Provide information about our services and answer questions about our organization
- Resolve customer complaints or issues by providing excellent customer service
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Stay up-to-date with our products, services, and policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven experience as a customer service representative or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple livechat conversations simultaneously
- Proficiency in using livechat software and other customer support tools
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
