Role Overview:

This Marketing Design Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of graphic design requests for the Marketing department, including email templates, special offer key art, website/WordPress design, website and in-app pop-ups/banners, paid social ads, E-newsletters, digital ads, and other marketing-related design projects as needed. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining our brand's consistency and visual identity while driving the development of high-quality graphics that support the company’s mission and goals.

Candidates for this role will be based in the United States and work remotely.

Requirements

  • Help develop, implement, and maintain refreshed brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute design projects from ideation to completion according to the approved project brief. 
  • Lead the design process and advise best practices and optimizations to improve marketing performance.
  • Develop and execute design strategies that support marketing and promotional campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Prepare rough drafts, present ideas, and implement feedback as requested.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and delivered by requested deadlines, including being available during business hours with limited after-hours availability as needed.
  • Stay abreast of design trends, industry best practices, and competitor activities to continually enhance the brand's visual communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team, product team, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business objectives.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for enhancing existing design, improving brand consistency, and leveraging new design tools, formats and technologies.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of professional design experience or relative experience
  • Strong Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Understanding of branding principles, visual communication, and design trends.
  • A strong eye for visual composition.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work creatively, balance multiple projects from conception to completion, and deliver timely results in a fast-paced remote working environment 
  • Great multitasking skills and ability to work independently. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, WordPress, and other graphic design tools (Preferred)
  • Experience  with HTML and CSS (Preferred)
