Responsibilities

• Coordinating the export of ocean freight shipments from start to finish
• Preparing necessary documents and completing customs clearance procedures
• Communicating with customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
• Managing shipment exceptions and troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Maintaining accurate records and updating shipment information in the company's system
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ocean export operations
• Knowledge of export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software, such as CargoWise
• Pet Food knowledge a plus

Salary range - $48,000 - $58,000
