Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer I - Industrial Engineering at Staff Finders Technical, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process and improving operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, work instructions, and equipment modifications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes
- Identify areas of inefficiency and propose solutions for improvement
- Develop and implement work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity enhancements
- Conduct time studies and evaluate cycle times to optimize production flow
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects
- Provide support in the design and implementation of new manufacturing equipment
- Validate and verify tooling and equipment for production
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus
- SAP
- Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
- Data analytics skills – visualization skills
- Communication is key, must be a team-player and organized. Will work with front line pack/ship people, engineers, pickers and everything in between. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels.
