The Role:
Join a rapidly expanding startup in the healthcare industry, poised for significant growth! We are seeking a dynamic, process-oriented, Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team through a period of rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with existing relationships in the medical community, including private physician practices and large hospital systems. As the VP of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 7-10 sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in private medical practices and large hospital systems
- Develop and implement processes to streamline sales operations and improve efficiency
- Utilize technology, particularly Hubspot, to automate and templatize repetitive tasks and enhance sales effectiveness
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Thrive in a scrappy startup environment, demonstrating agility and adaptability in the face of ambiguity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
- 3+ years experience leading a team of inside/outside sales reps (5+ direct reports).
- Strong personal network within the medical community (private physician groups, hospital systems, etc).
- Strong understanding of buyers within the medical community and its operational dynamics
- Experience working in scrappy startup environments and navigating ambiguity
- Proficiency with technology, including CRM systems (ideally Hubspot) and sales automation tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
