Body Repair & Paint

Essential Duties:

·         Prepare multiple surfaces for priming, repair and painting.

·         Develop knowledge of equipment used and the skill to use the equipment for surface preparation for application of liquid coating.

·         Develop knowledge and skill to use the paint mix system.

·         Develop a complete understanding of quality paint standards to ensure that the paint finishes produced by the paint department is of the highest quality possible.

·         Develop a complete understanding of quality fiberglass repair standards to ensure that the repair produced is of the highest quality possible.

·         Become acquainted and continuously follow all paints safety policies and procedures on the job.

·         This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing up and down, as well as work using a ladder all day. 

·         Must be able to wear respirator for up to eight hours.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

·         Previous paint production work desirable, but not required.

·         Must have good attendance.

·         Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions.

·         Attention to detail.

·         Good Communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, and ability to work in a team environment.
