At the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (IHTC), we offer a future where people with rare blood disorders flourish. Our experts provide the highest quality comprehensive services and holistic care to patients with bleeding, clotting and other hematologic disorders, and to their families.
What You Will Do
As a Clinic Nurse at the IHTC, you will be responsible for the nursing care of patients in the clinic setting. This role will work with both pediatric and adult patients of the IHTC.
The Opportunity
- Patient check in duties, including but not limited to: vital signs, medication reconciliation, allergy updates, and assessment/reason for visit
- Performs anticoagulation management under the direction of a physician
- Provides nursing care for patients in the infusion room
- Follows the plan of care for surgery patients
- Draws laboratory studies as ordered
- Coordinates and works directly with triage nursing to ensure comprehensive continuity of patient care
Requirements
- Graduation/completion from an approved RN program
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Valid RN License in the state of Indiana
