Position Summary: The Finance Analyst at KCG Management Company, Inc. will support the Finance team by evaluating and underwriting affordable and market rate housing projects, monitoring project closing diligence, managing loan extensions, renewals, and conversions, and facilitating equity capital calls. This role demands strong communication, critical thinking, independent judgment, problem-solving skills, and a basic understanding of real estate financing.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Underwriting and Evaluation:
- Participate in comprehensive underwriting and financial modeling for new and existing LIHTC and Market Rate projects.
- Financing Programs and Portfolio Review:
- Monitor construction and permanent loan financing programs for current trends and provide recommendations to optimize project capital stacks.
- Track portfolio loan maturity dates and facilitate loan renewals and extensions.
- Lead the stabilization and conversion to permanent financing process with lenders and syndicators.
- Tax Credit Equity Management:
- Lead the LIHTC equity installment tracking and ensure timely submissions for funding of capital calls.
- Deal Closure and Relationship Management:
- Assist in closing calls, diligence tracking, meeting deadlines, and ensuring deals progress toward successful closures.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, to fully source, document, and close both LIHTC and Market Rate transactions.
- Industry Engagement:
- Attend occasional industry conferences annually and join in meetings with various financing partners.
- Occasionally travel for on-site property visits.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in affordable housing financing and familiarity with relevant housing program regulations a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Physical Demands/ Work Environment:
The duties of this position are usually performed in an office/indoor setting. The employee may be exposed to fluctuating outdoor temperatures and other weather conditions while moving form one location to another.
