The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to production and quality control..
Responsibilities:
- New hire starting to learn assigned machine.
- Beginning to learn TydenBrooks policies and procedures and core values.
- Becoming competent in assigned machine.
- Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Learning to understand job travelers and B.O.M requirements.
- Learning the quality procedures and how to verify quality of product through use of measuring devices and following guidelines of Product Quality Sheets for product being run.
- Learning how to properly fill out required documents to record efficiencies, quality, and preventative maintenance.
- Learning all safety devices, guards, and sensors of assigned machine. Stop production and notify supervision if any of the safety devices have been found defective or not working.
- Learning to properly read and follow the schedule for assigned machine.
- Learning to communicate any issues of concern to team lead or supervisor or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation utilizing 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Learning to maintain an above 85% efficiency for assigned machine.
- Follow work instructions as set out by the Supervisors and Managers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Able to read and understand the specifics of a Job Traveler.
- Must be able to read and understand a Bill of Materials.
Preferred competencies:
- Proficient computer skills with Basic Knowledge of MS Office and effective communication skills.
- Can function effectively with minimal supervision - has initiative to complete tasks without direction.
