All hourly sanitation associates will be held to a high standard of efficiency as they work to clean equipment, utensils, and food containers throughout the bakery. All associates are to keep quality. Bakery safety, food safety, and efficiency top of mind as they work- following SQF and OSHA mandated processes.

Pay: $22.64/ hour

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8hr Shift

Sanitation Team Member Responsibilities:

• Complete tasks outlined in the master, daily, and weekly sanitation schedule or directly assigned by the sanitation manager or lead.
• Perform all duties following company safety procedures and guidelines with focus on zero injuries.
• Utilize, store away and measure all chemicals utilizing the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures (LOTO).
• Scrape, wash, and sanitize mixers, ovens, bun coolers, refrigerators, and bathrooms, production lines, outside plant areas, parking lots, conveyor belts, forklifts, overheads and other equipment as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment, transport equipment to the wash room.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Work as a member of a team.
• Associate needs to be a Self-starter, gets involved quickly, takes on difficult tasks and takes initiative to achieve goals beyond what is required.
• Maintains high activity/productivity level. Operates with sense of urgency, efficiency, effectiveness and determination over extended periods of time an under hot, cold, indoor and outdoor environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders, use air guns and pressure washers during his/her shift.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule including weekends and most holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.
• Follow the 7 steps of wet and dry cleaning.
• Utilize battery operated floor scrubbers.
• Be able to work in wet conditions.
• Adhere to all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)

Requirements

Sanitation Team Member Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
• Previous experience in a Bakery (Preferred) but not required.
• Ability to handle constant physical workload.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Candidate must be able to work some overnight schedules.
• Read, write and clearly communicate in English.
• Be on time and willing to perform some overtime when necessary.
• Must have dependable transportation to get from and to the job.
