Summary:

$24.27 an hour

Hours: Shift Varies, must be able to work all shifts

Shipping Associates will load and ship all finished products to comply with all laws, policies and standards governing food safety and quality. Shipping Associates are obligated to report any and all food safety and quality issues that may occur.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Unloading trucks of empty trays and pallets, recording counts.
• Create load sheets for trailers from front office orders, and late adds for intercompany
• Load trucks according to load sheets ensuring accurate counts and code recording
• Inform wrapping operator of code changes during running time.
• Accurate run counts, maintaining records and logs
• Must maintain an organized, clean and sanitary working area.
• Recording all appropriate data where and when necessary. i.e. Trailer numbers, product codes and quantities, route information, product counts on daily loader log
• Operate company tractor, trailer training – valid drivers license and training completion
• Complete all necessary trainings. Including fork truck training to get a license to operate
• Communicating with others. i.e. operators, utility personnel, supervisors, route drivers.
• Available to work on weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards.

• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (if required).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Required to purchase slip-resistant shoes prior to start date
