Full Job Description
We are looking for qualified key personnel who possess the requirements to be a Superintendent, Quality Control Manager (QCM) and Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO). Our clients work on federal projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and NAVFAC. The scope of work varies from renovations/remodels to new construction. The types of work can range from heavy civil/infrastructure, to industrial and some commercial jobs as well.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Superintendent - Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Directing Subcontractor work to keep in compliance with project schedule. Developing and reviewing of all AHA, jobsite conditions and methods of construction. Daily site safety inspections and reports of work. Held daily and weekly safety meetings with each trade project wide. Held Preparatory Meetings with each trade over each specification section, including safety review of work being done. Reviewed AHA reports at each meeting per specification section. Kept designated government personnel and management staff apprised of status of work. Ensures all reports are prepared and submitted in accordance with the APP Plan, including the Daily Quality Control Report. Maintained all the project safety files. Reported and logged any work not meeting APP requirements.
Quality Control Manager (QCM) - Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: Reviewing all submittals, plans and specifications and ensuring that all worked performed met specification requirements. Processing of RFI’s. Composing and final review of the Quality Control, Environmental Protection, Accident Prevention, Solid Waste Management, Construction Site, and Demolition Plans. Approving monthly subcontractor billing percentages and processing company billing. Updating the project schedule and project manager reports monthly. Conducting weekly QC meeting with subcontractors and government. Performing multiple daily site inspections and documenting findings in daily contractor quality control report.
Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) - Duties for this project include performing safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections and safety enforcement. Coordination and conduction of daily safety and health inspections, maintaining and providing complete and accurate documentation of such inspection. Conducts weekly safety training, maintaining and providing complete and accurate documentation of such training. Enforcing and adherence to EM 385-1-1. Implements and enforces the APP (Accident Prevention Plan) along with conducting AHA’s (Activity Hazard Analyses). Ensures all safety reports are prepared and submitted in accordance with the APP. Ensure complete job site compliance with the safety and health requirements. Maintains Hazardous Chemicals list and their MSDS on site. Conducts accident reports and assist with internal investigations. Holds daily safety meetings and keep documentation of such meetings. Keeps designated personnel and management staff apprised of status of safety in the workplace. Maintains all the project safety files. Examines work sites to identify hazards in the workplace. Ensure all personnel, including subcontractors, are using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Benefits
$2800 - $3000/week (depending on scope of work)
