Full Job Description
We're seeking an individual who combines creativity with analytical thinking and is confident in independently coordinating and executing marketing initiatives. The Brand Manager is essential in ensuring brand consistency, project efficiency and the achievement of overall marketing objectives.
The right applicant will be adept at managing projects, driving cross-functional initiatives, and leveraging market insights to ensure each sub-brand thrives in it's individual marketing segment.
The Key Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Brand Strategy Development: Formulate, implement, and execute strategic brand plans for each sub-brand to ensure consistent growth and market positioning aligned with the overall company vision.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of sub-brands, ensuring coherence in messaging, tone, and brand identity while addressing the unique market needs of each.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends. Utilize these insights to guide sub-brand strategies.
- Marketing Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they are tailored to the specific objectives of each sub-brand while maximizing ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing team members to drive creative campaigns and content. Work with internal departments (Sales, IT/Development, Engineering, HR, etc.) to ensure brand objectives are met and consistent execution across all touchpoints.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze brand performance metrics, sales data, and consumer feedback to measure the effectiveness of brand strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets for brand development, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources across sub-brands.
- Brand Innovation: Identify and initiate opportunities for innovation in brand positioning, product offerings, and customer engagement to keep the portfolio competitive and forward-thinking.
This position is a full-time, non-remote, salary-exempt position at 40 hours at week. This position requires working fixed days Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require working additional hours beyond these days and hours on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing/brand management (preferably with oversight of multiple brands).
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, consumer behavior, and market segmentation.
- Proven ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Experience with budget management and financial acumen.
- Ability to think both analytically and strategically.
