We are currently seeking an Internal Communications & Employee Events Lead to join our team in Wichita, KS. The Internal Communications and Employee Events Lead is responsible for planning and executing employee events and internal communications.

Essential functions of the role:
- Create and execute comprehensive enterprise and departmental internal communications strategies to drive clarity and connection between business strategy, goals, people and culture so that the associates of Emprise Bank are informed, connected and engaged.
- Craft compelling narratives for internal communications that align with the company's strategic direction and inspire action.
- Act as Emprise’s “internal journalist”
- Work closely and engage with key stakeholders to build trusted relationships and become the subject matter expert for communicating with context and impact.
- Lead the identification of themes, topics and content that resonate with target audiences and meet strategic business objectives.
- Leverage multi-channel delivery to accommodate for diverse consumption needs (video, graphics, written communication etc.)
- Create Emprise’s Employee Value Proposition and drive aligned connection between all people processes and programming determining where we have gaps and disconnects and make recommendations to EVP, People & Culture for improvements
- Plan and execute engaging employee events, drawing inspiration from successful past events to create memorable experiences for all.
- Provide creative direction and vendor management for internal engagement strategies, fostering collaboration with various community businesses to enhance event success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years experience in internal communications, event planning, and/or journalism preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Well versed in multi-media communications platforms (video production, scripting, written communications, digital delivery)
