Major Skills, Aptitudes & Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement through in-depth process analysis, uncovering opportunities to elevate performance and streamline operations.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making by conducting insightful ROI analyses for process improvements, tooling upgrades, and equipment investments, driving cost savings and profitability.
- Leverage your understanding of FEA principles to conduct non-complex analyses, assessing key design parameters and recommending necessary refinements prior to finalization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department managers, production managers, and engineers to identify, analyze, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, resulting in increased efficiency, quality, and capacity.
- Contribute to a leaner and more efficient manufacturing environment by leveraging 3D modeling and design skills to create tailored solutions that address specific production bottlenecks and operational challenges.
- Bridge the gap between design and reality by physically building and assembling various projects, upholding high quality standards and ensuring their readiness for end-user deployment.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to expand your skillset and gain exposure to different areas of the department
Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with manufacturing processes
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Data entry and management
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to write clear, concise reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to understand and apply statistical calculations
- Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables
- Ability to calculate figures and measurements
This hourly position requires working fixed days Monday through Thursday with fixed hours of 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Schedule deviation must be approved by the Manager. This job may require overtime.
