The Opportunity:
Vortex Companies is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in identifying and implementing strategies to:
- Boost Efficiency: Analyze processes across Vortex facilities to pinpoint opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement solutions to streamline operations and maximize workflow.
- Enhance Quality: Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the company. Identify potential issues and implement measures to ensure consistent production of high-quality products.
- Expand Capacity: Analyze production capabilities and identify opportunities to increase output while maintaining quality standards.
- Prioritize Safety: Evaluate potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve overall working conditions for all employees.
You'll Be a Success If You Have:
- A strong analytical mind with a knack for problem-solving.
- Excellent data analysis skills and a proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and gain buy-in from various stakeholders across the company.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest industry trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Industrial Engineering; significant relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Three years of Industrial Engineering and / or continuous improvement focused work experience preferred.
- A working knowledge of various manufacturing processes is required.
This position requires working fixed days Monday through Thursday with fixed hours of 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Schedule deviation must be approved by the Manager. This job may require overtime. This is a salaried exempt position.
