As part of Euronet’s Legal Department, and under the direct supervision of the General Counsel, this role will assist in a broad range of legal matters with an emphasis on contract management, corporate governance, legal document review, legal invoicing management, and other administrative duties. The right candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, exercise mature and professional judgment, and have outstanding time management skills.
The Paralegal’s responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with projects as directed by corporate attorneys (e.g., conducting research, timeline management, etc.);
- Managing corporate record books and various corporate governance initiatives;
- Preparing, reviewing, proofing, and editing various legal documents;
- Assisting with the contract lifecycle by liaising with Euronet’s business teams utilizing contract ticketing technology;
- Managing contract storage utilizing a contract storage database;
- Responding to records subpoenas received from various state agencies;
- Managing external legal invoicing;
- Scheduling meetings, coordinating correspondence, and performing other administrative duties; and
- Supporting efforts to effectively manage the delivery of legal services to the company.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and paralegal certification or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney, and demonstrated evidence of independent judgment, project management and substantive legal research and drafting skills.
- Technically savvy, with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
- Clear, precise, and pointed drafting.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
