Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation.
The Project Site Manager is responsible for the daily reporting on a specific project site (Jackson County Detention Center located in Kanas City, MO). This individual will office in a trailer on the project site and will assist in scheduling deliveries, track delivery times, concrete repairs, along with any downtime on the project site during erection activities.
During erection on site, daily communication will be required with all precast suppliers, other trade partners, and the general contractor. This position will provide a daily report of all activities happening on project site to Project Office Manager. This is considered to be a “working manager” role and will be the direct contact for the company during erection on the project site.
This position is a temporary position that will be between 6-8 months.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Daily tracking of all precast scope deliveries – What pieces were delivered, when they were installed and if any downtime or delays occurred.
- Assist Dispatch of each product type to assist to reduce down time of erectors on site.
- Coordinates the weekly schedule for crews to maximize efficiency and meet project timelines and budgets.
- Track fixes (structural)
- Document the location of the fix required
- Take Photo of the fix location
- Send fix report to engineering and project manager (PM only if sub-subcontractor other than EPCI)
- Coordinate the delivery of fix to the jobsite, log and communicate with erection teams on timeframes for fix repairs
- Log downtime on jobsite for erection crews when working with on precast scope.
- Track MEP coordination issues:
- Track locations of errors of MEP on panels in daily log.
- Determine if error was due to layouts performed incorrectly at the plant, drafted on ticket incorrectly by engineering, or error was made in field by MEP contractor.
- If EPCI at fault, work with EPCI patch crew to make necessary repairs.
- Assumes any management responsibility including, but not limited to, discipline, performance management, training, and safety.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in construction is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years working with architectural precast concrete.
Other Requirements:
- Have and maintain a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Necessary software skills to create field tickets, manage employee timecards, and establish written procedures
- Ability to read prints, effectively use Microsoft office and Bluebeam software programs to create field tickets, track production, track fix locations and time stamps.
