We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions through the use of advanced imaging technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, adhering to established protocols and physician orders
- Position patients and employ appropriate radiation safety measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate and reassure patients about imaging procedures and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in radiology technology or a related field
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Proven experience working in a radiology department or healthcare facility
- Thorough knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and imaging software
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring safety

Time: 8am-8:30pm
Positions : 1
Shift : Day
Pay Rate: $2,320 - $2,490 weekly
Weekend Rotation: Required
On-call Requirements: None
Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: 4 buildings that are attached that contain x-ray equipment.
Experience Required: Minimum two years radiology experience, Level I experience, travel experience
License Required: ARRT, KS license
Certificate Required: BLS
