Job Summary: The Cloud Support Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on AWS and CAD applications. This role involves leading a team of support engineers, ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud support engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of CAD applications in the cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS and CAD applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and CAD applications.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in cloud support engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of CAD applications and their deployment in cloud environments.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
