Full Stack Developer

We're currently seeking a full-stack developer to help us continue to improve our class-leading volunteer tracking platform. As a small dev shop, the ideal candidate will wear many hats, including requirements gathering & analysis, coding, testing, mentoring, and DevOps, just to name a few. On any given day, responsibilities could include new feature development, bug fixes, and upgrades to our React frontend, evaluating existing processes, performance tuning, or researching industry trends. You will work directly with our Senior Tech Lead to make MobileServe as performant, robust, and feature-filled as possible!

At MobileServe, technology is a tool, not a religion. There is no “best framework” or methodology. We love cool new technology and new ideas are definitely encouraged, but at the end of the day, architecture decisions must serve the business and the budget. Requirements

• 3+ years experience
• Strong Python skills
• ORM experience (preferably Django)
• React or equivalent modern Javascript framework
• HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge
• Experience with Git workflows on a multi-developer team
• Solid AWS experience
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Linux and the CLI experience
• Soft skills: independent and motivated learner, easy-going personality, and a strong problem-solving skills

Bonus Points

• iOS/Android development experience
• Django and Django Rest Framework
