Senior Accounting Manager

The Role:

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the accounting and finance process. This includes ensuring accurate financial data, reconciling balances, account analysis, and supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
• Perform financial statement account analysis and review
• Help with the implementation and refinement of accounting processes
• Oversee and reconcile monthly intercompany and related party transactions. Including management fee billings and cost allocations. 
• Administer company credit card programs and accounting.  
• Manage, coach, and develop team members

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
• 5+ years’ experience in an accounting role, corporate experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple responsibilities
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience at a CPG or Food/Beverage Company a plus
• Ability to think cross-functionality, join data from various sources, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external
• Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem-solving, and organizational skills
