PAWSH receptionists will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will be the first point of contact for clients who visit or call our clinic. You will assist clients with scheduling appointments, answering questions, and providing information about our services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Obtain accurate patient information and update records as necessary
- Assist clients with inquiries and provide information about our services
- Collect payments and maintain financial records
- Coordinate with the veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Practice Management experience is a huge plus!
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including basic IT and computer skills.
- Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not required; we are open to candidates who are willing to learn.
- Passion for animals and a genuine desire to contribute to their well-being.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
