Field Service Mechanic Equipment

1 Resource Group is currently seeking experienced Field Service Mechanics for equipment repairs and maintenance. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, generators, bulldozers, frontend loaders, and more. This position requires extensive experience in hydraulics, diesel engine repair, and welding.

Equipment Field Service Technician is a member of our field service team, handling all aspects of inspecting, repairing, trouble shooting and performing service/maintenance both in the shop or in the field on service calls.  The types of equipment to be worked on entails aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, and generators, to name a few.  Travel would primarily be local to regional (working within an approximate 200-mile radius).  Occasional overnight travel may be required as the workload dictates.   

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Order necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance work.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance work, and parts inventory.
• Communicate with customers and team members to understand and address equipment issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in hydraulics, diesel engine repair, and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work at different job sites.
• Work ruck is provided, so must pass MVR and background check
