Job Summary: The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in supporting organizational objectives by collaborating with various departments, managing tasks independently, and actively seeking sales opportunities to grow the exchange and remanufactured business. This role involves engaging with customers, providing solutions, and serving as a liaison between technical teams and customers to optimize sales opportunities.

Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments within the organization to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Independently manage tasks, including problem-solving and resolution of customer * complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proactively upsell parts and solutions to customers while actively seeking new sales opportunities to expand the exchange and remanufactured business.
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, projects, and sales initiatives to effectively promote products and services.
- Act as a liaison between the technical teams and customers, ensuring that customer needs are understood and translated into optimized sales opportunities.
- Provide timely follow-up on estimates, addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records by uploading data into the IDM (Integrated Data Management) system to track customer interactions, sales progress, and performance metrics.
- Provide weekly updates during team meetings, reporting on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities, and escalate issues as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet the dynamic needs of the sales team and the organization.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Revenue Generated: The total sales revenue generated in a specific time frame.
- Number of New Sales Opportunities: The quantity of new leads or opportunities generated. It reflects the representative's ability to identify and pursue new business.
- Sales Conversion Rate: The percentage of leads or inquiries converted into sales.
- Pipeline Growth: The number of potential sales opportunities in the pipeline. A growing pipeline suggests a healthy sales future.
- Customer Response Time: The average time taken to respond to customer inquiries or complaints.
- Order Accuracy: The percentage of orders that are processed without errors. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Highly Strategic
- Familiarity with relevant equipment, policies, and safety procedures.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the marine and power plant industry.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating alternative solutions and approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Technical sales knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Sales-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in logistics within a similar field.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, printers, and scanners.
