Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Intern to join our team and provide innovative solutions to our clients in the Information Technology and Services industry. As an information technology intern, you will work closely with our experienced professional mentorship teams and learn the skills required to build scalable software systems and deploy them on cloud platforms.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with experienced developers to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
- Learn to use cloud computing technologies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input that contributes to the project's success.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player and willing to learn from experienced professionals.
Important Information about this job:
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work and lived continuously in the U.S. for three (3) of the last five (5) years.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust background investigation.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills, are required
