Join our dynamic team at Ripple Effect as a Business Development Specialist with the US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), in the G3/5/7 office. Your mission will entail strategically identifying and cultivating avenues to enhance program visibility and facilitate seamless information exchange across internal and external stakeholders.
In this capacity, you will serve as the cornerstone for the New Products and Ideas (NPI) initiative, assuming the critical roles of NPI Administrator and Vendor Day Coordinator. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the NPI system, maintaining a diverse cadre of Subject Matter Experts, and coordinating collaborative efforts in the realms of science, technology, and advanced development within USAMRDC.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Specialist, your responsibilities may encompass the gathering, meticulous organization, and effective dissemination of pertinent information pertaining to USAMRDC business endeavors. This will be achieved through various channels, including but not limited to conferences, meetings, newsletters, and articles. Furthermore, a key aspect of the role will involve articulating the intricacies of conducting business with MRDC and actively advocating for MRDC's business development initiatives. Specific duties may include:
- Gather, organize, track, and disseminate information on USAMRDC business activities to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate USAMRDC's business processes, development programs, and STEM initiatives at conferences, seminars, and industry meetings, enhancing awareness among partners.
- Provide logistical support, coordinate meeting materials, and maintain historical archives for G-3/5/7-supported meetings and conferences.
- Attend and contribute to projects and meetings supporting the Strategic Planning Office and USAMRDC missions.
- Interact with internal and external parties per government guidance, update "How to Do Business with Us" documentation, and foster community relationships.
- Educate USAMRDC stakeholders on planning, innovation, and partnership protocols.
- Assist in planning and executing events, meetings, and conferences to facilitate strategic planning and promote USAMRDC's mission.
- Generate content for social media platforms to enhance USAMRDC's online presence and promote integration and partnerships within the organization.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years of relevant experience
Basic Requirements
- Relevant experience developing and supporting communication strategies, disseminating information and promoting a positive public image.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills; demonstrated capacity for detailed organization of complex information.
- Highly efficient and extremely detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement.
- Familiarity with content management systems for uploading and editing website content.
- Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and know when to seek assistance.
- Active Secret security clearance.
