Ripple Effect is seeking a Creative Services Manager to lead our creative design team in delivering outstanding visual communications. In this role, you will be responsible for creative direction for new brand concepts, campaigns, marketing pieces, videos and animation.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can inspire creativity, drive best practices in UX/UI design and provide workload management. You will collaborate closely with different departments to create compelling visuals and multimedia content that effectively convey our messaging and values.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates internal and external resources including freelancers, part-time designers, and vendors (e.g., voice talent, photographers, printers).
- Develops creative briefs and digital asset libraries to support design team activities.
- Develops and implements design standards based on UX/UI best practices and facilitates the creative design process.
- Oversees the creative development process to ensure products are high-quality (creatively designed and brand adherence), error free and client ready.
- Manages creative design team members providing mentoring, oversight and managing performance.
- Develops and monitors production schedules and manages changes in project scope, schedule and costs to deliver on-time, within scope and on-budget.
- Provides advice on creative approaches to accomplish project objectives.
- Contributes to proposal writing and technical solutioning and budgeting for design and creative projects.
- Develops and implements processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of team's operations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or equivalent
- 6+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years of project management experience
Basic Requirements
- Experience overseeing the creative design process, developing creative briefs and managing production schedules for high-quality and on-time delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UX/UI or other industry design standards.
- Experience with graphic design for the federal government, non-profit or similar clients.
- Project and people management skills in budgeting, resourcing, planning, tasking and schedule management.
- Advanced ability to navigate program’s web-based system such as SharePoint, Teams or other project management tools.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, staff, and external vendors.
- Strong portfolio examples showcasing creative design and storytelling through visuals across diverse platforms (e.g. video, web, print).

Skills That Set You Apart
- Mastery of graphic design platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Supervisory experience.
- Additional years of project management experience.
- Understanding of 508 compliance and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Government Contracting (GovCon) experience.
- Experience with science and health projects.
