Ripple Effect is looking for a Deputy Director of Information Technology who is responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure operations and personnel within the IT department. They work with the executive team, business operations team, Ripple Effect’s Managed Service Provider, IT vendors, and Ripple Effect client facing teams to ensure that Ripple Effect has the technology, processes, controls and information security practices in place to carry out its business functions and meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manages multi-disciplinary project teams, including staff with expertise in IT delivery, data, programming, development and project management by providing mentoring, oversight, and managing performance.
- Coordinates the internal and external resources for flawless execution of projects that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Identifies and locates resources through hiring, recruiting, consultants, and internal resources to execute digital and IT-focused programs and projects.
- May manage larger projects and teams, multiple concurrent projects or interdisciplinary projects spanning multiple business units.
- Leads the overall strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing systems, including researching new technologies and conducting feasibility studies.
- Provides advice on digital solutions and technical approaches to accomplish project objectives including meeting cadence, research approaches, resource needs, communication strategies, and data management.
- Ensures systems are compliant with all government laws that govern technology, including security, accessibility, and privacy laws.
- Oversees the business requirements for gathering, development, maintenance, testing, documentation, and deployment process to ensure on-time delivery and high quality.
- Develops a detailed solution roadmap and project plans to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Manages the relationship with clients and all stakeholders.
- Leads the development of processes and procedures that enhance effectiveness and efficiency of team's operations.
- Contributes to developing a pipeline of proposal opportunities for the division by developing relationships, vetting opportunities, leading proposals, and overseeing the pricing and technical solutions for proposals.
- Actively promotes the company and the division by contributing to recruiting, participating in networking events, presenting at professional meetings, and actively developing networks.
- Contributes to divisional leadership by contributing to division priorities and goal setting,
- Contributes to major portions of technical volumes for digital solution projects and may contribute budgeting and pricing.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information technology, Business information systems, or related field
- 9 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of government contracting experience
Basic Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft systems (ex: MS365, Azure Active Directory)
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
- Working knowledge of Power Platform
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, as well as conflict resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, communicate, collaborate and work well with individuals and groups at all levels
- Deep knowledge of IT-related security, privacy and accessibility laws that impact government contractors working at HHS and DoD
- Ability to handle requests on short timelines

Skills That Set You Apart
- Experience with CMMI and ISO standards
- Knowledge of CMMC and NIST 800-171
- Experience with assessing and understanding information security requirements from a contract terms and conditions perspective
- Knowledge of FutureFeed
- Experience working in a small business environment
