Full Job Description
CTI is seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to our clients in the area of electromagnetic spectrum operations. You will work closely with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J81 Innovation and Experimentation Division, INDOPACOM staff, and subordinate components to identify and implement innovative solutions to spectrum-related challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide subject matter expertise in electromagnetic spectrum operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of spectrum-related activities.
- Advise leadership and project teams on spectrum management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize spectrum use and enhance operational capabilities.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of new spectrum-related technologies and capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including military personnel, government agencies, and industry partners, to address spectrum management challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the field of electromagnetic spectrum operations.
- Conduct research and analysis on spectrum-related topics and prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Provide training and guidance to personnel on spectrum management principles and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Necessary Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronic systems) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electromagnetic spectrum operations, with a focus on spectrum management and planning.
- Strong knowledge of spectrum management policies, regulations, and procedures, including those applicable to military operations.
- Experience with spectrum management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Beneficial Experience and Skills:
- Experience in spectrum-related research, development, and experimentation.
- Prior military experience in spectrum operations or related fields.
- Professional certifications in spectrum management or related areas.
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools for spectrum analysis.
