Are you a seasoned events professional who is excited about healthcare events? Are you a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail?
Ripple Effect is looking for an Event Coordinator with three years of professional experience to support our client’s mission. This role will work closely with the events team within the Communications Department, providing pre- and post-conference support including logistics, marketing, purchasing, A/V, facilities, and scheduling for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.

Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of conference materials such as agendas, briefing materials, PowerPoints, travel, hotel information, etc.
- Prepare post-event reports including event summaries, key insights and take-aways, and event metrics.
- Create and support event timelines to ensure clients’ needs are met.
- Manage technical aspects of all events.
- Support registration process and registration tracking.
- Research, coordinate, and communicate with vendors.
- Develop comprehensive meeting minutes and notes and develop meeting summaries and post-event reports.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and derive insights from data generated during events.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of relevant professional experience
Basic Requirements
- Ability to administer event platform software successfully (Zoom, Cvent, etc.).
- Able and willing to report to our Headquarters office (located in Rockville, MD) or to client sites on an as-needed basis for events and meetings.
- Experience supporting and coordinating small- and large-scale events.
- Experience designing and preparing agendas, run-of-shows, and other meeting materials.
- Experience creating and adhering to event task lists/punch-lists.
- Ability to prepare high quality, client-ready meeting materials.
- Experience with speaker correspondence and tracking.
- Experience setting up and running virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
- Experience administering event platform software successfully in hybrid and virtual environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience researching and selecting vendors.
- Possess strong organizational skills, with high efficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to be responsive, utilize critical-thinking, and exceptionally manage time and tasks.

Skills That Set You Apart
- Strong technical experience with event platforms and production, including building out virtual event and registration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Cvent).
- Bachelor's Degree (may substitute as years of experience).
- Experience managing concurrent events.
- Demonstrates creative and innovative ways to plan and execute events.
- Experience using Microsoft Planner and/or Microsoft Project to create event punch lists and track event tasks.
- Skilled at implementing event engagement tools (i.e., Q&A, polling, and event apps).
- Experience coordinating attendee travel, reimbursement, and honorarium.
- Experience analyzing event metrics and data.
- Experience supporting and coordinating small- and large-scale event for government clients.
- Possession of CGMP certification
