Financial Management Analyst

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a highly motivated Financial Management Analyst to support our customer in Indian Head, MD. The Financial Management Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial data and processes to provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiencies. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop financial models and forecasts, and provide financial insights and guidance.

Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Evaluating and improving financial processes and controls.
• Preparing budgets, financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Developing and implementing financial models and forecasts.
• Identifying and recommending cost-saving and revenue-generation opportunities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
• Providing financial guidance and insights to stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ADVANA and/or Jupiter systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Active SECRET Clearance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Efficient in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Management Regulations (FMR).
• Ability to use standard office software applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, etc.).
• Knowledge of Asset Management and Plant, Property and Equipment Management.
