Job Description: The mission of the Security Cooperation Program Office (SCPO), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group, and International Sustainment Department (ISD) V45 is to provide Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for 2 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
Junior Logistics Analyst will support multiple Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML). The selected candidate will assist in providing analysis, coordination, and recommendations regarding the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle. Experience can be in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Logistics, or Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior positions in the performance of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations for various international programs.
- Assist in the research of special topics, the preparation and coordination of reports, and the development of monitoring systems.
- Assist the Program Office in new Security Cooperation business acquisition as well as FMS or Security Cooperation case development, implementation, and follow-on support activities.
- Provide analysis support and track program/project status and schedules in support of program offices.
- Assist in researching the availability of repair parts and equipment to support Ally Partner Security Assistance cases.
- Track the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments.
- Assist with the In-Transit-Visibility (ITV) monitoring of high-priority shipments.
- Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings, and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and less than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition or life cycle management, analysis or planning is required.
- Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance required.
- Position is contingent upon funding.

The likely salary range for this position is $59,000 - $66,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
