Manufacturing Operations Manager

Spaceworx is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee our production processes and ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of our modular privacy pods and collaboration booths. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient production strategies and processes
• Monitor production efficiency and quality metrics, and implement improvements as needed
• Manage production schedules and coordinate workflow to meet customer demand
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of materials
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and manufacturing processes
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Review and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, operations management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing / operations management
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience in the modular furniture or mill-work industry is preferred
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
• Proficient in ERP systems and utilize technology and data analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• In plant/ office position- not remote at all.
