Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and management, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests;
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various estate, trust, probate, and estate litigation matters;
- Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases;
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents and correspondence are accurately recorded and filed;
- Prepare for and attend client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as necessary;
- Support attorneys in estate litigation matters, including preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials;
- Assist with estate administration tasks, including asset identification, valuation, petitions, inventories, and accountings;
- Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents based on attorney's instructions and client information;
- Working closely with attorneys to provide support in all aspects of estate planning, probate and estate litigation matters;
- Handling probate/estate administration matters from start to finish;
- Educating clients on the estate planning process, probate procedures, and other legal matters related to their specific situation;
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and billing.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma;
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience;
- Great interpersonal skills;
- Extremely detail oriented and effective organizational abilities;
- Strong work ethic and professionalism;
- Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and proactively manage caseload;
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of our team;
- Strong computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
- 3+ years of experience with an estate, trusts, probate/estate administration and/or estate litigation;
- Strong understanding of estate planning, administration, and litigation procedures
- Experience with elder law is a plus.
