Full Job Description
Seeking a Policy and Strategy Analyst to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Bethesda, MD. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and Private Sector and will directly contribute to development and implementation of policy and strategy. An Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of IC and DoD data and related strategies, business goals, objectives, and performance targets, and make recommendations to keep the Sponsor’s strategy aligned accordingly
- Craft the next IC Data Strategy and develop implementation plans and key performance indicators
- Engage with stakeholders
- Assist government client with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to high-level government officials
- Communicate technical topics to non-technical senior audiences
- Portfolio Management - Monitor and analyze portfolio data and present findings and recommendations to aid Sponsor decision-making, to include proposed strategies and/or roadmaps; identified risks, gaps, and dependencies; alignment with the strategic framework and priorities; and funding and related program issues
- Performance Management – ensure the strategy is effectively and efficiently pursued, using best practices and benchmarking in business and mission analytics
- Review and evaluate existing IC policy, identify gaps
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
- JOURNEYMAN Level - Typically requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. SENIOR Level - Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. SME Level - Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
- Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills
- Detail oriented; able to consistently deliver high quality products in a timely fashion
- Experience writing policy
- Working knowledge of data and AI topics
- Skill in developing collaborative information and knowledge sharing networks and builds alliances with colleagues and counterparts within area of expertise
- Work with seniors in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
