IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs in Woodlawn, MD. You will lead and oversee our team's support in planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and tracking multiple competency areas, operations, resources, client satisfaction, customer and corporate reporting, overall delivery, as well as contract and personnel administration. This includes ensuring quality deliverables and services, client responsiveness and satisfaction, contractual responsiveness and compliance, contract risk and issue management, financial management, and seeking organic growth for the contract scope and revenue. In addition, the Program Manager will work closely with our federal counterparts and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to understand and fully support the needs of the programs. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and have experience managing a diverse staff of different disciplines to produce results on schedule and develop efficient strategies and tactics to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall performance, service delivery, and quality of project deliverables.
- Act as primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with the customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems, and obtain solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Provide status updates on tasks as required and attend weekly status meetings.
- Responsible for the completion of administrative tasks such as the compiling of reports that detail program activity to supply clients with status and progress of projects.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives as they relate to improving program delivery.
- Verify that the program produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
- Organize, plan, and execute staffing requests with qualified resources and facilitate needed contract actions.
- Communicate challenges and potential risks to the client, as needed, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead strategic and technical working sessions, both internally and with clients.
- Keen client relationship and business development instincts to identify growth opportunities within projects.
- Skilled at team building and improvement to ultimately achieve exceptional performance ratings.
- Experienced presenting to large client and corporate audiences both via videoconferencing and in person.
- Assist in data cataloging for corporate audits such as ISO, CMMI, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Seven (7) years of project management experience in the Federal space.
- Seven (7) years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients, technical SME's, and other project team members to establish, monitor, and perform against requirements and deliverables
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
Preferred:
- CSM, SAFe, and PMP certification strongly preferred
- Exceptional English language written and verbal skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience in PowerPoint, Word, and Visio applications.
- Senior-level knowledge, skills, and experience in federal government project management leading system sustainment efforts for federal government implementation
- PMP certification or equivalent
- BSc/BA degree in management or a relevant IT field; MSc/MA is a plus
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI Public Trust Clearance
