NAA is seeking a Project Operations Manager to join its team!
Overview:
The AdoptUSKids Project Operations Manager will provide management necessary to actualize the goals of the program through support of the leadership team, the team working with child welfare agencies and partners. The Project Operations Manager will support the AdoptUSKids program through services such as project logistics support, data dashboard management, developing project communications, and oversight of administrative functions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, nonprofit management, business administration, operations management or closely related field. Master’s degree in a related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years of operations or project management roles with increasing responsibilities is required. Demonstrated management-level experience is required with a minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience. Experience with data analysis and reporting and child welfare is highly preferred. Project Management Professional Certification or similar credentials is a plus. Ability to travel 4-6 times per year required.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Project Management
· Manages the logistical aspects of a project from the start to completion, including support in the resource planning, timeline, and communications.
· Tracks outcomes from evaluation reports to propose program improvements.
· Makes regular verbal and written presentations under the direction of the AdoptUSKids Director on program updates and announcements to NAA CEO, NAA staff, and external audiences.
· Partners with the AdoptUSKids Director to conduct qualitative data analysis for program clients.
· Partners with cross functional teams to improve project tools and systems.
· Ensures adherence with grant requirements including reporting, budgeting, and deliverables.
· Attends meetings with AdoptUSKids Director to gather necessary information to provide project tracking and support to AdoptUSKids.
· Collaborates with team members to ensure project timeline and appropriate support is provided.
· Manages special projects as assigned.
2. Data Management
· Provides oversight in the collections and coordination of AdoptUSKids data for the Data Dashboard, agency audits, response to requests from the Children’s Bureau, and other data shared externally.
· Oversees the process of data collection to ensure quality assurance regarding data throughout the project.
· Utilizes available data to inform decision making.
· Onboards new AdoptUSKids members to their data systems, trouble shoot issues with program partners and make needed updates to the system.
· Accesses data from various databases and platforms used across the project such as Five-9, Airtable, and Photo listings.
· Connects staff members to appropriate learning & troubleshooting tools for various databases and platforms.
· Works closely with Evaluation regarding AdoptUSKids outcomes and quality improvement.
· Assists with data pulls from programming partners’ systems as well as validation of data collected and entered by program partners.
3. Administrative Oversight
· Develops and proofreads grantee reports such as Semi-annual reports.
· Serves as administrative role for platforms such as Google Suite and GrantSolutions.
· Serves as point person with Evaluation partners on Data dashboard development, oversight, and management.
· Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish project goals.
· Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources to provide appropriate administrative support to project needs.
· Maintains cross-collaborative communication and partnerships within the AdoptUSKids project to support the collaborative. Take notes at meetings, both internally and with external partners, and distribute as necessary.
· Prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Provides guidance and leadership to the Project Specialist to ensure accurate data collection and related project administration tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner.
· Provides support in the preparation and administration of the program budgets; provides support in monitoring expenditures and providing support in the development of resource spending plans when necessary.
· Provides support to the AdoptUSKids Director regarding finances.
· Provides support to the AdoptUSKids Director to administer internal and external announcements.
· Facilitates cross-collaboration within AdoptUSKids to support the collaborative by encouraging the exchange of information and sharing while focusing on the common purpose.
4. Public Relations & Event Planning
· Plans, leads, and facilitates event logistics and travel arrangements for AdoptUSKids.
· Serves as the lead to organize informational webinars on topics specific to AdoptUSKids as requested by jurisdictions and/or partners.
· Under the direction of the AdoptUSKids Director, provides program announcements to both internal and external participants.
Additional Notes:
Work is expected to be performed remotely with the requirement of travel 4-6 times per year within the US for meetings and conferences. NAA conducts background checks on all employees. Occasional overtime (evenings and weekends) may be required.
Benefits and Compensation:
The Project Operations Manager salary is $80,000.
