Connelly School of the Holy Child is looking for a dedicated and organized Assistant Director of Operations to support the daily administrative functions of the school. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of school activities, programs, and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to creating an enriching environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
- Ensure the school's operations run efficiently and effectively by overseeing and managing the school calendar
- Coordinate all transportation to include daily transportation routes and field trip transportation
- Coordinate with school caterer for lunch service
- Manage the allocation of resources to fulfill operational needs.
- Coordinate all rentals of campus space
Event Support
- Assist with organizing school events, coordinating logistics, and liaising with vendors.
- Coordinate events set up with facilities team for school events, classes, and community functions.
- Manage student attendance for various school events to include field trips, retreats, etc.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least three years of operational experience in an educational setting or similar environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Veracross, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Capacity to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and vendors.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events and other responsibilities.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the school.
