Water Resources Project Engineer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Water Resources Project Engineer in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of engineers and technicians in the successful completion of water resources projects
• Design and prepare construction documents for stormwater management systems, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and erosion control plans
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
• Develop stormwater management designs and prepare reports for clients and regulatory agencies
• Coordinate with other design team members, subcontractors, and regulatory agency personnel
• Review and interpret applicable codes, regulations, and standards
• Perform project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Conduct engineering site visits and attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Maryland, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Water Resources Engineer
• Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
• Familiarity with stormwater management regulations and best practices
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
