We are thrilled to announce a new opportunity to join our team as an Assistant General Manager at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in New Bedford, MA.
As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations of our hotel. With your engaging personality and passion for hospitality, you will collaborate closely with our General Manager to provide outstanding guest service and maintain the highest standards of excellence.
Located in the historic city of New Bedford, our Fairfield Inn offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for both business and leisure travelers. This is an exciting chance to be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front office operations, including guest service, room availability, and cost controls
- Lead and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and help with performance evaluations
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience
- Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance Hospitality standards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to maintain a seamless operation

Requirements
- Prior hotel experience 1-2 years, preferably in a leadership role
- Front of the house hotel experience
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations or property management
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Marriott, Fosse knowledge is a plus nut not a requirement
